« Wed Aug 12, 2009 9:19 am »   take care pally, thanks for the chat!!
« Wed Aug 12, 2009 9:18 am »   Oh, nice, good for extra cash then! Right I'm off to sort out a few things, cheers falkor!
« Wed Aug 12, 2009 9:11 am »   I think you'll find that IOs get huge amounts of cash for the "out of hours" and shift work that they do. they do way more shift work than PCSOs including some night duty and get more money up to £28K
« Wed Aug 12, 2009 9:10 am »   Sounds pretty good! I would be interested, for a change, but I'm guessing the wage is the same as PCSO wage, which is no bad thing. I haven't seen it advertised yet.
« Wed Aug 12, 2009 9:00 am »   Lt would you yourself be interested in such a role? I believe that you could do it!! I understand that employment agencies arerecruiting people to do with and without previous police experience WAGES up to £28000
« Wed Aug 12, 2009 8:59 am »   Oooooh yeah? Is the MET one of those? Sounds good, I wonder if it will catch on to other forces, I'm guessing it probably will.
« Wed Aug 12, 2009 8:56 am »   no no Ithink I read on NT that 8 Police Forces have appointed them so far, you know the TV series NEW TRICKS? just like them fellas :-)
« Wed Aug 12, 2009 8:54 am »   It does sounds interesting, I would like to speak to some Investigating officers myself, although this is the first time I have heard of the role. Is it meant to be hush hush?
« Wed Aug 12, 2009 8:51 am »   I have been involved in interviewing suspects and witnesses for the best part of my life, so I have some substantial experience - from the old days - if nothing else - that is probably the foundation to my curiosity here, being an investigating officer, civilian or police is no mean feat, in either case - shift work right around the clock, 7 days and geographical logistics conspire to create quite a lot of stress - and that's even before you're sitting down at the table - any thoughts on this yourself Lt?
« Wed Aug 12, 2009 8:49 am »   True, true, and what is your interest in the subject matter?
« Wed Aug 12, 2009 8:45 am »   well when you launch a forum, you have a choice of going with the default graphics, which quite honestly mean little to nothing to anybody who is actually joining for the sake ofthe subject matter to hand, SO injecting some RELEVANT graphics instead, although time consuming and accruing a slight memory cost - I believe is fairly essential to the initial "look" of the site, especially to new members who may be looking around just for a couple of minutes or even less
« Wed Aug 12, 2009 8:41 am »   Fingers crossed! So... what's the idea of the little graphics that show up, at the top left hand corner of the site!?
« Wed Aug 12, 2009 8:39 am »   yeah it's a sod, DON!!!we need you m8 JOIN UP FOR GOD'S SAKE
« Wed Aug 12, 2009 8:38 am »   You could strike him off your Christmas card list? Finding a way to advertise it to other investigating officers? Could be difficult...
« Wed Aug 12, 2009 8:34 am »   hehe nice one Lieutenant well a m8 of mine IS an IO and I thought he would join me here, but he didn't want to, so it's just me and you Lieutenant! what can we do?
« Wed Aug 12, 2009 8:30 am »   Woooah Christmas!? Nice site btw, what's it all about?
« Thu Aug 06, 2009 2:00 pm »   nearly Christmas!
« Thu Aug 06, 2009 1:28 pm »   ho ho ho
« Thu Aug 06, 2009 1:04 pm »   lo
